# Linking Multiple Stores

Link your locations so you can switch between them, see each other's stock, send items between stores and compare them in reports. Customers aren't shared. Manage links in [Settings › Stores](https://go.cloudbridal.com/settings/manageStore).

| **Tip:** Each additional store gets 25% off its subscription. Email [support@cloudbridal.com](mailto:support@cloudbridal.com) to set it up.

## Opening a New Store

1. Go to [Settings › Stores](https://go.cloudbridal.com/settings/manageStore).
2. Click **Add a store** and choose **Open a new store**.
3. Enter the store details and click **Open store**.

The new store starts on a free trial, linked to this one, with you as its admin.

## Linking an Existing Store

If your other location already has its own CloudBridal account:

1. Go to [Settings › Stores](https://go.cloudbridal.com/settings/manageStore).
2. Click **Add a store** and choose **Link a store you already have**.
3. Enter the other store's admin email and click **Send request**.
4. An admin of the other store approves the request in their own **Stores** settings.

## Unlinking Stores

Click **Unlink** on the store in [Settings › Stores](https://go.cloudbridal.com/settings/manageStore).

## Switching Between Stores

Click the store name in the top bar and pick another store. The page reloads with that store's data. You can also click **Switch to this store** in Stores settings.

### Practice Stores

If your store uses [API Access](https://help.cloudbridal.com/en/article/api-access-hu00ug/), a sandbox — a practice copy of your store, named "Your Shop (Sandbox)" — also appears in the switcher, listed separately under a **Practice** heading. It isn't one of your locations — it exists so a developer can test against a copy of your setup. Anything done inside it stays there: nothing in a sandbox emails or texts your customers. An orange banner across the top of every screen tells you when you're in one, with a **Back to live store** button to leave.

## Giving Staff Access to Other Stores

Admins choose which staff can sign in to each linked store. On each linked store in [Settings › Stores](https://go.cloudbridal.com/settings/manageStore):

- **Your staff there**: who from this store can sign in to the other store.
- **Their staff here**: who from the other store can sign in here.

Turn a staff member's switch on and pick the role they'll have in that store. See [Staff Members & Roles](https://help.cloudbridal.com/en/article/staff-members-roles-atrx7g/) for setting up roles.

Staff get only the permissions of their role in the store they're currently in. A manager in one store who is a stylist in another works as a stylist there.

## Reports Across Your Stores

When your stores are linked, the [Reports](https://go.cloudbridal.com/reports) catalog opens with an **Across your stores** section, such as sales, cash flow and sales tax by store. A store is included only if you can sign in to it and your role there lets you run the matching report. If your login can't get into a linked store, the catalog tells you which one.
