Installing CloudBridal as an App
Install CloudBridal as an App
Run CloudBridal as its own app — with a home screen icon, full-screen layout, and notifications on your device. This works great for iPads at the front desk and for the computer at your register.
Install on iPad
- Open go.cloudbridal.com in Safari and sign in
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow)
- Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add
- Open CloudBridal from the new home screen icon
Note: The installed app keeps its own sign-in. You'll sign in once the first time you open it, and it stays signed in after that.
Install on Desktop
- Open go.cloudbridal.com in Chrome or Edge
- Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow)
- Click Install
CloudBridal opens in its own window and appears in your taskbar or dock like any other app.
What Changes in the Installed App
- Own icon and window: CloudBridal gets its own home screen icon and opens full screen, without browser tabs and address bars
- Device notifications: The installed app can show notifications on your device even when CloudBridal isn't open — see below
Turn On Device Notifications
Get notified about new appointments, payments, signed documents, and assigned tasks even when the app is closed.
The first time you use the installed app, CloudBridal offers to turn these on — click Turn On, then Allow when your device asks. If you chose Not Now, you can turn them on any time:
- In the installed app, open your Profile (click your portrait in the top bar)
- In the Device Notifications section, click Turn On for This Device
- When your device asks, choose Allow
The bell icon's Notification Center also has a quick toggle for the same setting.
- Notifications appear on your device only when CloudBridal is closed or in the background — while you're working in the app, you'll see the usual in-app messages instead
- Tapping a notification opens the app directly to the related customer, appointment, or task
- Each device is enabled separately, so turn this on for each iPad or computer where you want alerts
- Which events notify you is controlled per staff member under Profile → Notification Preferences
Troubleshooting
- The layout looks zoomed in or cramped on iPad: The installed app follows Safari's page zoom. In Safari, tap the Aa button and set zoom back to 100% (or check Settings → Apps → Safari → Page Zoom), then reopen the app.
- The "Allow" prompt never appeared, or notifications stay off: Notifications were likely blocked earlier. On iPad, go to Settings → Notifications → CloudBridal and allow them, then try the bell button again.
- The icon opens an older-looking version: Remove the icon and add it again — the icon keeps the settings from when it was first added.
