Mailchimp is an email marketing service that allows you to send bulk email messages and marketing campaigns to your contacts. This is a great way to further increase engagement with your customers and keep them aware of things like sales and other special events. CloudBridal integrates with Mailchimp and allows you to sync your contacts from CloudBridal →  Mailchimp.

How the Mailchimp Integration Works

• Contacts are synchronized from CloudBridal to Mailchimp on a daily basis, or on demand
• The following details are synchronized: First Name, Last Name, Made Purchase, Customer Type
• If you're running the integration for the first time, it will synchronize up to the last year of contact data
• The integration will only sync contacts who have an email address on record and do not have communications paused

Configuring the Mailchimp Integration

Obtain Mailchimp API Key

1. If you haven't done so already, sign up for a Mailchimp account at this link
2. Navigate to this link or go to your Profile > Extras > API Keys > Create A Key
3. Name the API Key: CloudBridal
4. Click Generate Key
5. Copy the key for later

Enable Mailchimp Integration in CloudBridal

1. Navigate to this link or go to Settings > Integrations > Plugins
2. Find the Mailchimp plugin and enable it

3. In the plugin settings, paste your API Key from earlier and click the Test Connection button to verify that the connection works

4. Click the Save Configuration button to fully enable the integration. Afterwards, your contacts will begin to sync on a daily basis.
5. Optionally, you can click the Sync Now button to do your first sync. This will sync any contacts created in the last year.
