Dashboard & Alerts

The Dashboard serves as your command center, providing real-time insights into your bridal shop's performance and actionable alerts to keep operations running smoothly.

Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard is organized into three tabs that provide different perspectives on your business. All users can access the Store Summary tab, while Financial Insights and Outstanding Balances require additional permissions.

Store Summary Tab

Your primary dashboard view combines critical alerts with key performance metrics. When issues need attention, alerts appear at the top organized into collapsible groups with action buttons for immediate resolution.

Performance Widgets

Order Statistics display real-time counts across the order lifecycle with time-range filtering. Each status count links directly to filtered order lists, making it easy to identify bottlenecks and take action on orders needing attention.

Customer Analytics track acquisition trends by customer type when multiple types are configured. Period-over-period comparisons help you understand growth patterns and evaluate marketing effectiveness for different customer segments.

Referral Sources show how customers discover your shop through an interactive bar chart with percentage changes over time. This data helps you make informed decisions about marketing investment and identify your most effective channels.

Event Month Distribution provides a visual breakdown of upcoming events to help with capacity planning and seasonal preparation. Multiple customer types are displayed in a stacked view when configured.

Inventory Overview organizes your stock by brand with item counts and direct links to filtered inventory views. This helps you quickly identify prominent brands and manage vendor relationships.

Financial Insights Tab

Requires: Dashboard Financial Details + Reports permissions

Comprehensive financial analytics including payment processing trends, sales performance, and tax collection within selected date ranges. You can drill down into specific data sets for detailed analysis, with multi-item orders displayed separately for accuracy.

Important: CloudBridal provides helpful insights but is not an accounting system. Always consult your accounting software and tax professional for official records.

Outstanding Balances Tab

Requires: Dashboard Financial Details + Reports permissions

Accounts receivable management with orders organized by year for easy tracking. Each section provides complete order information for follow-up actions, with summary totals showing your overall outstanding balance position.

Alerts System

The alerts system proactively monitors your operations and identifies issues requiring attention, helping you stay ahead of problems that could impact customers or workflow.

How Alerts Work

Alerts are automatically generated based on configurable rules you can customize in Settings > Alerts. They appear at the top of your Store Summary dashboard, grouped by category with direct action buttons for immediate resolution. You can adjust thresholds, enable/disable specific types, and configure monitoring periods to match your business needs.

Alert Types

Order Management Alerts

Late Order Alerts identify vendor orders that haven't arrived on schedule, triggering when orders exceed expected arrival dates or configurable time thresholds. Order Reminder Alerts flag orders still in "New" status as event dates approach, based on lead times configured per customer type. Orders Pending After Event alerts show incomplete orders past their event date when they should be in final status.

Customer Management Alerts

Unregistered Customer Alerts track customers with confirmed appointments who haven't completed self-registration (requires Customer Registration feature). Unassociated Customer Alerts find customers without staff assignments despite having appointment history. Customer Missing Email Alerts identify customers with orders but no email address, configurable per customer type.

Communication Alerts

Email Delivery Failure alerts track emails that failed to send within a configurable monitoring period, with options to mark as resolved or retry. Pending E-Signature alerts show customers with unsigned documents when the e-signature feature is enabled.

Financial Alerts

Payment Overdue Alerts identify missed payment plan installments when the Payment Plans feature is enabled, helping you follow up on overdue accounts.

Managing Alerts

Access Settings > Dashboard Alerts to customize which alerts appear, adjust sensitivity thresholds, and configure monitoring periods. Most alerts provide direct action buttons to navigate to relevant records, update statuses, or mark issues as resolved. Review alerts daily to stay proactive and use them to identify opportunities for process improvements.
